The Challenge
Pacifica is a vegan, cruelty-free beauty brand and one of the world’s largest distributors of beauty products. A new ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system was installed that required handheld communication over wireless networks to increase Pacifica’s productivity in day-to-day supply chain operations.
Unfortunately, the existing wireless infrastructure simply couldn’t provide efficient coverage to support the new system.
The Process
Our team installed an enterprise-class, state-of-the-art wireless infrastructure that not only supported the new ERP system but allowed devices (and team members) to communicate faster, with higher-quality signals over longer distances.
To ensure their new infrastructure was secure and reliable, we installed redundancy in the network and a central, cloud-based monitoring system. With 24/7 monitoring, the Pacifica team can rest easy as edgefi remotely resolves any issues that may arise, including software and security updates.
The Results
Through the new infrastructure, Pacifica was able to unlock a new level of efficiency. Not only were the shipping and receiving teams able to increase productivity, but the entire team of office users also had a new, faster network.
