SMS Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: May 7, 2026

These SMS Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in edgefi's SMS messaging program. By providing your mobile phone number to edgefi and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Program Description

edgefi operates a Customer Care SMS messaging program for the sole purpose of supporting active IT and cybersecurity engagements with existing edgefi clients. Messages sent under this program are limited to:

  • Support ticket status updates and notifications
  • Troubleshooting steps and technical instructions
  • Requests for information needed to resolve open support tickets
  • Confirmation of issue resolution and ticket closure
  • Scheduling of support calls or remote remediation sessions

This is not a marketing or promotional program. You will not receive advertising, sales, or third-party messages through this program.

2. How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from edgefi by one of the following methods, each of which constitutes your express written consent:

  1. Submitting your mobile phone number through an edgefi web form that displays the SMS consent disclosure and includes an unchecked opt-in checkbox that you affirmatively select.
  2. Replying with an opt-in keyword (such as "YES" or "START") to a confirmation request sent by edgefi.
  3. Providing express written or verbal authorization to an edgefi representative during an active support engagement, which edgefi will document in your client record.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services from edgefi. Your consent applies only to support-related communications tied to active edgefi engagements.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the activity and status of your open support tickets. You will only receive SMS messages while you have one or more active support tickets with edgefi.

  • Replying STOP to any edgefi SMS message;
  • Calling edgefi at 360-450-0033; or
