1. Program Description
The edgefi Customer Care SMS program ("Program") is a text messaging service operated by edgefi for the benefit of existing edgefi managed services clients. The Program is used to deliver:
- Active support ticket updates and notifications
- Appointment scheduling and confirmation
- Technical instructions related to open service requests
- Ticket resolution and follow-up communications
The Program does not deliver marketing, sales, or promotional content.
2. Consent
By providing your mobile telephone number to edgefi through one of the methods described below, you expressly consent to receive recurring SMS messages from edgefi related to active support engagements.
Consent is collected through the following methods:
- Master Services Agreement (MSA). During client onboarding, authorized client representatives execute edgefi's MSA, which includes designation of mobile contacts authorized to receive Customer Care SMS communications.
- Express in-engagement consent. During active support engagements, clients may provide express written or verbal authorization to an edgefi representative, which is documented in the client's record in edgefi's PSA system.
- Client-initiated contact. Clients who initiate contact with an edgefi team member by texting that team member's published business number provide express consent for that engagement.
Full consent collection procedures are described at https://edgefi.com/sms-opt-in.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your active support ticket activity. There is no fixed messaging schedule.
4. Charges
edgefi does not charge a fee to participate in the Program. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your messaging plan.
5. Opting Out
You can opt out of the Program at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPTOUT, or STOPALL to any SMS message from edgefi.
After you opt out, edgefi will send a single confirmation message, after which you will not receive further SMS communications from the Program.
To resubscribe after opting out, reply START or YES to any prior edgefi SMS, or contact your edgefi account manager.
6. Help
For assistance, reply HELP or INFO to any edgefi SMS, email it@edgefi.com, or call 360-450-0033.
7. Carrier Disclaimer
